I have a similar story to those above. Richard came and said he fixed my tumble drier but when I tested it it still failed to work. My wife had already paid him and he said that he'd refund the money but he never did. I've phoned countless times, texted, left messages and sent emails which he ignores. I'm now going to take him to the small claims court to get my money back. Avoid at all costs.

So disappointed with the service. I organised R****** to fix our leaking washing machine. He came promptly fixed the problem, or so I thought but created another issue. He did come back and fix that issue but the washing machine still leaks. We arranged many appointments which he never showed up for. Now refuses to answer my calls, messages. R****** did seem a genuine family guy so I was happy to use his service but actually I have been conned out of my £40 for a repair he never did.

Awful service and a complete time waster, wish I'd read the reviews Booked and cancelled three separate days and gave weak excuses and lies about not receiving messages that he had replied to Avoid at all costs

Yes I had a similar experience. Charged me £76 to change the springs on a dishwasher door. Came along and did something, it broke again in a week. Never bothered turning up again despite the promises. Avoid at all costs! when I had it properly repaired it turned out no new parts were used.....just bodged up.

Completely unprofessional and rip-off. I wish I had read the reviews before calling R*****; as number of other people have noted, R***** was good with the initial visit, very friendly, albeit late to arrive for the appointment - but from the moment I paid him, he has not bothered to reply to my calls/messages even though the fault is not fixed and he hadn't done anything when he checked the dishwasher. On the day, all he did was reset the wash cycle on my dishwasher (press to buttons together) and left it running with the promise that if the fault is not fixed, he will come back to check/fix - and disappeared with the money since. I have tried calling and texting him several times, but to no avail - not even a single reply from him.

I called Richard to ask him to visit to repair my washing machine. His phones are on answerphone 24/7. However, he called back within 5 mins. He agreed to call my Tenant and make an appointment. This was made Firstly for Saturday, he never appeared after my tenant staying in all day. He then called and made an appointment for Sunday and again never appeared! I have since been trying to contact him on both the landline and mobile. I have sent emails and text messages, as well as numerous answerphone messages. He has never replied to advise me what was going on. I would be very reluctant to employ this company again, as if I had a problem after the work was carried out, he probably would never get back in touch. Very bad experience ¿¿
